Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current TX Registered Nurse Licensure. Two or more years of recent intensive care experience. Successful completion of critical care course, preferred. Current ACLS and BCLS certification.

Provides care in the pain management environment directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. Functions as a resource person and teacher. Care given reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Proficient in pain management, guidelines and medication dosing.

Skills: Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure. Minimum of one year experience in pain management and/or in the operating room, preferred. Current BCLS and ACLS certification.

Comments: PRN Days for Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Provides direct patient care to Emergency Room patients. Assists with nursing duties in all departments.
