Dr Souhail Asfouri, Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist

Austin Surgical Hospital welcomes Dr. Souhail Asfouri to head the newly formed Gynecology department. Dr. Asfouri provides a full spectrum of services in Gynecology and infertility. Specializing in minimally invasive surgery such as Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Endometrial Ablation and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy in addition to annual examination, general gynecology, birth control, acne treatment, and menopause evaluation and management, Dr. Asfouri is a great addition to Austin Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Asfouri graduated from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston with the M.D. degree in 1989. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1993. And he has practiced at various U.S. medical centers before settling in Austin.

Dr. Asfouri is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Society and the Travis County Medical Society.
