Austin Surgical Welcomes Victory Medical

Victory Medical at Austin Surgical Hospital is a comprehensive family practice group housing four family practitioners, all board certified, and offers a walk-in clinic Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm. Victory Medical at Austin Surgical Hospital is located one mile off of Mopac at 3003 Bee Cave Rd., Austin, TX 78746. Victory Medical is a satellite clinic from Victory Medical Center which is located in South Austin at 4303 Victory Dr., Austin, TX 78704. Please join us in welcoming the New Austin Health IVF Lab at Austin Surgical Hospital. Austin Fertility Institute has collaborated with Austin Surgical Hospital to form New Austin Health. Through the stewardship of Drs. Wang and Moghadam, as well as the experienced assistance of the nursing and support staff at Austin Surgical Hospital, we are collectively committed to providing superior assisted reproductive care that is second to none. Dr. Moghadam's team specializes in in vitro fertilization, and their ivf success rate is one of the leading in Texas.

Welcome new CEO Gregg Magers

Mr. Magers broad healthcare background includes senior level operational and financial management of several different types of inpatient and outpatient healthcare delivery (i.e. .acute, post acute, practice management, long term rehab and psychiatric). Mr. Magers has an excellent experience base with both hands on line management responsibility for healthcare operations and detailed financial knowledge. Mr. Magers has successfully held positions such as:

• Hospital management - C.E.O., C.O.O. and C. F.O. – acute, post acute and specialty (cardiology)
• President/C.E.O. of a national multi-site practice management company
• Corporate hospital development officer and regional C.F.O.

In 2006, Mr. Magers founded Interim Healthcare Solutions Group DBA Magers Healthcare Professionals which focused on interim management and consulting .with a client base that included Franciscan Healthcare Services, Community Health Systems, Ascension Health, MedCath (i.e. Tucson Heart Hospital) and numerous community hospitals. Mr. Magers has served as a hospital CEO, CFO, System CFO and COO as well as provided merger/ acquisitions and profitability consulting services with specialization in turnaround situations.

Mr. Magers has worked effectively in proprietary and non- proprietary environments in analyzing and evaluating operations to identify problems, establish priorities and implementing viable solutions. He is a both a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Residing in Lakeway, both he and his wife , Nancy, have three grown children.
